I’m thankful for fall!

Whether it is the beautiful mid-west sunsets, the active little squirrels, or the early morning frost, there is always a glimpse of beauty somewhere if you look for it. Thanksgiving evening we were treated to this brilliantly colored sunset, and a few mornings later the fog and frost combined to back light everything.

Solar Eclipse

The recent lunar eclipse was followed up by a partial solar eclipse on the 23rd. Once again I was able to get some photos. I used a Nikon D3200 with an aperture of 32, a shutter speed of 1/4000, and an ISO of 100 for most of the shots.

Lunar Eclipse

Once in a while the moon hides behind the earth. The light from the atmosphere colors the moon various colors. This time it happened on October 8th. I took some photos and here are the results:
